My former address is showing on printed shipping label

I just sold an item and printed the label. I was surprised that my old address is printed on the label, because since I've moved I've bought several items on eBay and of course they've been delivered to my current address. When I clicked on my "ship from" address, I see that it's still my former address. I had thought that when I updated my address, that would have also been changed.

So I just changed my "ship from" address. Is there any way to void the label I just printed and print a new one with my current address? Or I suppose I could just use White-Out. I definitely don't want to be charged for two labels. Thanks.

There are 5 places in your settings you need to change when you change your address.

If it were me I'd probably just leave the label as is, as long as the postage is correct for the zones (depends how far you moved of course).

Should the buyer request a return ebay would send them a label with your (now correct) return address. That's if you've gone in and changed the return address as well as your ship from and ship to addresses.

Like @toomuchstuffagain35 says, there are several places you need to update your address at on Ebay. It's kind of stupid you can't just do a blanket change, but you have to update return address, ship from address, billing address, ship to address, etc in different places.

They don't make it easy.  My wife and I have moved several times in the last ten years (in different states) and found all this out pretty quickly. At the time, we also had to do the same thing with PayPal, so nowadays it's more streamlined 😆

Thanks. How do I change my ship from address? I can't quite figure out what to click on. Also, what are the other places that I need to change?

Change addresses here:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses

Then next time you ship from the create label page click on Edit at the upper right next to your From Address.

Also try clearing your browsing and cache history after you make the changes. Things sometimes get locked in to place and will revert back to old saved information.

Adding to this. Sometimes updating address on the address settings page will not translate to the shipping label page. So to accomplish step 2 mentioned above, first sellers need to make sure they see additional shipping options. On the top right of the label page look for this:

Once you've expanded to show additional shipping options, look for the edit link under your address. Update it and the change will stick go-forward.

You also asked about voiding a label @platinum1400. To void a USPS shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Void from the Actions drop-down. The reprint option is available for 24 hours, the void option is available for 5 days.

Printed eBay Standard Envelope labels are non-refundable and cannot be voided.

eBay International Standard Delivery labels, UPS labels and FedEx labels are not charged to your account until they are used, so there is no void option.
