5 times this year I have had buyers wait until the day I leave them positive feedback to open return request. I leave feedback 2-4 weeks after they have received the item. Even though I clearly state that I have a no retern unless damaged or not as described I get these request for returns. Some people claim damage or just dont like the item. I know if I get a damaged item I contact the seller right away not 3 weeks later on the day they leave me positive feedback... This just happened again today and I am tired of it. Is there anything that can be done to stop this?
I wish eBay had a policy that if an item is damaged they must notify you within a couple days. None of the buyers wanted to return the items either. I believe it is just mail fraud and eBay is an accesory to it.

Hate to tell you, ebay always sides with the buyer. I, too, had a case where the offering had a good description, clear pictures, etc. Never said it was antique or claimed age, just that it hadn't come right of the boat, so to speak. The buyer claimed SNAD on me because it wasn't OLD enough for her. She expected an expensive antique. THAT is what she said in her claim. I, like you, talked to ebay and was told that there was nothing to justify her claim as I never claimed it was antique or old. Well, she holds out and escalates the case to ebay who FINDS IN HER FAVOR IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES!!!! WOW! Everytime I have called ebay I have had to wait a considerable period of time to get someone.
So now I get the so sad, too bad story when I call about having been scammed by the buyer as the case is closed.
Hubby and I are waiting for our store subscription to run out and then we are leaving ebay after being here since 1998!
It seems in the last year there have been a lot more scammers than I have ever encountered before. They KNOW, like your's did to you, how to game the system and get all their money back.

One more thing to add about this matter. When I talked to the CS about my problem with this buyer she told me ebay knew about how bad this was getting and was going to address the problem in the fall.
Well, now it is fall and the only thing I see is that ebay is NOW going to provide automatic return labels to buyers as long as they pay the return shipping! Geez Louise.....that only makes things worse.

There is none!!! eBay is a gateway to hell, and scammers love it.
Trust me, if you are a seller, you will not have any help from this board or eBay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
