I have an inventory of 18 very nice pre-owned office cubicles I want to sell. I have no experience in packing or shipping large items, so I'm hoping to find someone near my area to help. I am willing to completely split the profits, which should be between $500 and $1000 per unit.
I am new to ebay, so please let me know if there is a better place to make such a request. Thanks!

You realize you would also be responsible for all of the Ebay fees, that would be sale price, state taxes, shipping material, and shipping fees? And should all the sales exceed $600, the seller would be responsible to pay federal taxes on those sales? I dont see that happening..you would be better off selling these yourself as local pick up only.

There are some things that are better suited for local venues rather than eBay.
What you want to sell would be one of those things

I've attempted to sell locally for 6 months. There are thousands of ebay sellers who do ship extra-large items every day, and it is one of those people I am hoping to hear from.

Hi @kelreyn-88 ,
One thing you can try is using the Advanced Search link to the right of the Search window. There are filters including proximity to your zip code location. You could search similar items within that radius to see if geographically there is anyone nearby or within an acceptable distance from you that it makes sense to work with them.
If you find local Sellers you can use the Contact link on their Feedback profile or any one of their listings. When you message them just keep in mind eBay monitors communication for contact information ... if you find someone willing to help you will have to figure out a way to work out the details.
As a side comment ... a 50/50 split would have to be after Fees and other expenses by the ultimate Seller because that money is lost to both parties.

Mr. L

office furniture can be a hard sell
I remember the cash for clunkers era recession and there were a few articles about office furniture sellers taking it all to the dump instead of paying storage fees in a warehouse
good luck

If you weren't able to find any nibbles locally, it's unlikely someone will pay enough on ebay to make it worth it.
Here's an example.
At the time we got married, we registered for items because it was the "thing" to do. And among the items we "had" to register for was china.
30+ years later, I had 8 place settings of china that I'd used ONCE. (If I wanted to use it, it would need to be washed since it wasn't used, it was too fragile and fancy for every-day use, didn't want to chip it, etc.)
For 2 years (104 weeks!) I renewed listings on CL, the local shopper newsletter and put it out at yard sales. Even the scammers didn't want china! I think I got 2 replies from scammers who would send their shipper for it.
I didn't get a single offer for even pennies on the dollar.
I ended up donating it to my favorite thrift store and was happy to never have to look at it again!

hmm use to see these adds and some fool seller thinking they could make a lot ended up with credit in there name used to purchase items, and well as sell em: so they would end you paying the scammer as well as paying for the goods: most time the goods sold for less that the cost:
Seller ended up in major financial and legal trouble due to such.
The opposit can also be done to a person asking for a seller as well.....
In other words HIGH SCAMMER arena when such is asked.

UPS Stores will pack and ship items for you. Call one and give them the size to see if they will ship it for you and get an estimate of the cost. Make sure the estimate includes cost of shipping supplies, boxes, their cost to package and the cost to mail it. Good luck. Don't forget, the 12.9% fee that eBay charges also applies to the cost of shipping. So if it costs $100 to ship it, then $13 is going off the top to eBay. Good luck.

I wish you luck in finding a selling partner

If you are suggesting I am a scammer I don't appreciate it. I asked a simple question here in good faith.

Thank you for the suggestion!
