Arrgh, why do I keep falling for that? The word "parcels" should have been a big clue.

Because sellers from the UK continue to post their country-specific problems on the USA boards instead of the UK boards.

Can you give us a little more detail on what happened? It sounds like some kind of local issue with your PO, or perhaps that employee. (e.g. no gloves available)

I've been all over the Royal Mail website and cannot find any reference to parcels being refused. In fact, they have a lot of text there about how determined they are to keep everything moving, including parcels:

"Tuesday 31 March 2020

Royal Mail remains open for business. The postal service is a key part of the UK’s infrastructure.

The delivery of parcels and letters is a way of keeping the country together, your business operating, and helping many people who may not have the option to leave their homes. Royal Mail continues to work hard to collect, process and deliver as much mail and parcels as possible in difficult circumstances. Despite our best endeavours, it is likely that some areas of the country will experience a reduction in service levels due to Coronavirus-related absences at local mail centres or delivery offices."

Because the .co.uk help pages still link to the .com discussion boards.

Since Doug isn't around anymore can you follow up alan@ebay ? Here's a discussion with history on the issue- https://community.ebay.com/t5/Community-Platform-Feedback/co-uk-Help-Pages-links-to-com-Community/td...

You can see other threads linked from that discussion showing this dates back to Fall 2018 (at least).
