I woke up to 3 "late shipments" from 1 (which I deserved).

The 2 new ones I don't even understand.

This item was paid for on January 29th - and I have one day handling.

Same thing happened to me too. I have a 1 Business Day handling time. Buyer purchased on 1/25. I bought Ebay label and got a USPS acceptance scan on 1/26 (tracking shows this). Ebay says the package is late and reflects that on my Late Shipment Rate on dashboard. This has never happened to me before, even on items that took the scenic route. As long as I had an acceptance scan within my 1 business day handling time, all was good. Is this a glitch or an unannounced change in policy?

Call them...it's going in with lots of us...I just had 4 removed. Something is going on..a glitch perhapse. All of mine were shipped in my stated handling time, but because they were delivered "late" they dinged me for it.

Same thing has been happening to me. I just got one removed from last week after sending screen shots of proof I did my part on time to FB Ebay for business and only to look in my metric and yet another one is there now. Something is not right to get our percentages knocked down for late shipments just because USPS doesn't delivery on Ebay's projected delivery date.

I called eBay this evening and the customer service representative quickly admitted that there was a system-wide glitch. Many sellers' detailed shipment reports (downloadable from your seller dashboard) have no "ship by" date for items purchased from December 31 through February 2. I had four of these late shipment defects with no ship by date, so the representative immediately removed them.

I have been dealing with late shipments for 3 weeks, and I really do not think it is a glitch. The items are not reaching there destination in time due to USPS shipping delays. I have 11 dings in the last 3 days, the items are showing up 2 weeks late. I don't think it's the handling time, the item is not reaching the customer on time.

If you have a viewable scan within your handling time, then arriving late isn't supposed to count as a late shipment.

Apparently this is not working properly now for some sellers. I also just received one and my scan was recorded the day of the sale.

I hope these are corrected automatically by ebay because I have no desire to call in.

I had 1 (one) late shipment last year. It was 3 for the January. What ebay doing is insane, and I am going through my listings and increasing handling time as we speak.
