Labels are sideways when I buy in bulk, can’t print using my thermal label.

Last two days when I buy labels in bulk on eBay,the labels are not vertical like they were, but sideways. No matter what I do, I can’t get them to turn vertical when I get to print screen, and when I print them using my thermal label, the labels are too small to use. Anybody else having this problem?

Don’t know if it’s a glitch or what. Rotate doesn’t help in adobe, when I get to print screen, labels are still sideways. I can use my ink printer to print labels, but my thermal label won’t print normal size, because labels are sideways in print screen, and no matter what I do, I can’t get them to get vertical like they should be.

You need to recheck the label format is correct.  On the create label page look to the lower right.  There it will show the current format, if not correct, click change.

If still a problem come back with OS, browser, and printer model.  Screenshots help too.

Ok, thanks I’ll check that out next time before I buy labels. I don’t know why the format got changed though if that’s what the problem is.

Sometimes an ebay update will cause this to happen.  You can just create without completion another label for an existing sale, if you want to check now.

I don't use eBay shipping but I do run into this issue from time to time.....

Instead of printing directly save the label as a PDF and then print from the PDF. Make sure your browser is opening the PDF using Abobe and not the built in browser PDF reader. When you print from the PDF you can make sure the orientation is correct before printing.

I've had the same issue for 2 days now, last month I couldn't buy postage as the bulk service was bugging out and pricing everything wrong, this month the downloading format is all wrong.

Did this eventually fix itself ? I currently have to buy the labels then print individual for them to print correctly.

I am having the same issue. I have been buying bulk labels 4x6 for thermal printer for 10+ years and now they are showing sideways.

This has been an issue for some time. You will have to go to the shipping labels page and "Reprint Label" in the drop down. They will then pull up correctly. I believe Ebay was aware of the issue but it evidently has not been fixed.....like so many other glitches.

Consider a free PirateShip account until this fixed, which will import them directly, update tracking, and may even save you some money.

Same thing started to happen to me 2 days ago without me changing anything....

I KNOW about the bottom right option to choose size, but even if I do choose the 4x6 if still wants to print out 2 labels on one page...

@artcanthurtuThe option to print two labels per page is only available for the 8.5x11 format.  You need to go back and make sure the 4x6 option is still selected.

I have done it several times. ...and there is no place for me to choose printer BEFORE it is populated and after that it is too late to choose my thermal.

Look just above the label preview pane, what label dimensions is it showing?

Does the label preview show the correct printer outline with one or two labels in it?

Is your browser set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader? 

What OS, browser, and printer model are you using?

A screen shot of the entire label preview page will also help figure this out.

Yepp, that is what I am I having to do. I huge hassle to something that should not have to be a problem.
