Label printed (then sit for days and days) & Shipped are two different things; ebay needs to address

Very frustrating as a buyer to see “shipped” on my items, but then they just sit in “label printed” status for days and days and days as part of seller’s handling time. Ebay really needs to add another status step that actually says “item sitting” or “item in handling time” or “ready to ship” instead of “shipped.” Sorry but a package that has a label on it but is still sitting at the seller’s house is not “shipped,” and it is frustrating. Right now I have about 10 orders marked shipped for days but have yet to be received by post office. I’ve got one that sat for four days before it finally reached the post office. As a buyer, its getting annoying.

I’m finally learning that one. The funny thing is, the ones that seem to sit for days end up being really fabulous items, packed beautifully. That’s why I’m saying its not the sellers, its the notification system that needs some work.

I believe ebay messages used to state the item "has shipped" when the label was printed.  For that very reason I don't print my labels until the day I actually ship, even though I have a 1-day handling time.

I know I complained to ebay, as well as many others, during the weekly chat with ebay staff members, and I believe the message was changed to state that the label was printed and would soon be at the carrier.

It was complained about already they changed the email notification from your item has shipped to your ifem is BEING shipped as a result of the complaints previously made.  

Most st anywhere I buy online I get a notification an item is shipped when a label is made.
