Label created but goods never handed over to USPS

This month, I have faced several suppliers who issue labels in order to get a tracking number but goods are not handed over to their appointed shippers. eBay asks us to wait until delivery of goods before taking action but how can we wait until goods are delivered if nothing is shipped? Each time, it takes trouble and time to get a full refund. How to tackle this problem which is becoming an issue and put me off to buy on eBay.

Sellers who use the ebay labeling/shipping program often create their labels a day or so before they actually ship or their packages are picked up by the carrier. You have no idea of actually knowing if "nothing is happening". Patience is a virtue so do not fixate on tracking or other shipping details after purchasing - relax and wait for your item to arrive. If it does not arrive by the last ebay-estimated date of arrival for that item then you can open an item not received case.

It may be a USPS problem.  I print the label and mail it the same day. Dealing with one package that I dropped off at the USPS Drop-Box the 12th and has yet to be scanned as received. It looks as though I never mailed it, which simply isn't true.  It's not even reflecting that I printed the label, which I most certainly did AND dropped it at the USPS drop-box.

Another package never was scanned as delivered since February 21st when I mailed it.  Just disappeared.

Did you print the label using ebay's shipping program?  It automatically populates the tracking number.  If you did not, did you upload the tracking number?

I always print the SCAN form and have the clerk at the counter scan the form, even if I only have 1 package.  Any defects for shipping that I received is due to late shipping (we've all had problems locating an item, right?)
