Just a tip on tracking

If you sign up for notifications on tracking...........it asks for your name and email address........

Instead of your name, use the item name............i.e. "blue dress" instead of your name..... that way, when the notifications come in, you can tell what it's for without having to compare the numbers.

Read that on an outside group........and it works well.

Just a tip on tracking

Brilliant!!!  I started a Word document to try and keep track as updates come in on my cell phone and this will make things much easier.   Like so many sellers right now, any form of stress relief is welcomed.

@myboardid might find this useful if going this route.

That's brilliant! I would have never thought of that!

Very true.

Speaking of names, though, in that notification form on USPS.com, they have a bug in the name field that has gone unrepaired for ages now: you can't put in a name with an apostrophe. Try plugging in something like "John O'Neill" and it will barf  with a "Please enter a name" error.

You can't proceed until you take out that apostrophe ("ONeill") or replace it with a space ("O Neill"). It will accept hyphens, at least, so Buffy Huffington-Smythe is good to go. 😉
