So I purchased an item that came to just under $400 (including shipping). I received an email indicating it had been delivered to my PO Box. The email was sent on the 01/10/23. The post office doesn’t have it.
The USPS tracking number doesn’t exist on USPS site.
The EBay item number doesn’t exist.
The item doesn’t show up in my order history.
The EBay charge exists on my bank statement.
The seller says he doesn’t know what he can do to help me.
What do I do now?!?!

A bit confused... you say the order doesn't show up in your Purchase History, and the item number no longer exists? How in the world are you able to contact the seller who doesn't know what he can do to help you? Expand, please...

Did you buy as a guest? If you bought as a guest you would'nt see the order in your eBay. Check your eMail and spam folder.

My suggestion is type your tracking number on internet it'll pop up other applications you can use to try and track your order. Call your Post Office if they are willing to help out they can put your tracking information in machine and might be able to locate for you. This happened to me, we located the item was shipped to Florida and I lived in Illinois. EBay was really good and diligent and they refunded me all my money back then seller had penalties against them. Just make sure you write names dates, time of the people you talk with to prove your case.
Second all information together contact your bank prove your case as fraudulent and they should reverse all charges to your account. Hopes this helps

Thank you for your advice. I have the original confirmation email from EBay with all the details. Our Post Office is so under-staffed, but they are trying to help.

Wait are you using 2 different eBay IDs? If so why?
ETA: That’s probably the reason you can’t find the order.
