I use a company in Canada that brings my packages to the US to be shipped by USPS.
The prices are going up Jan 22nd and I can never know the exact date USPS will get them.
Am I better to print labels for Jan 23rd with the slightly higher prices (is it a problem if they get them before the 23rd)?
Or am I better to print labels for Jan 21st (is it a problem if they get them after when prices have increased)?
Will either situation cause my packages to be refused?
Thank you

Generally, underpaid postage is detected by special equipment at sorting centers, and just charged to the sender's account. But to be really safe, it would be better to pay the new rates; you might get a credit and you'd pay a smallish price for peace of mind. Some prices are actually decreasing because the "holiday surcharge" will expire.

I don't mind paying more the increase is insignificant I just don't want my packages to be refused or delayed if I print labels for Jan 23rd and they end up getting them Jan 21st, would that be an issue?

I just checked on the Stamps.com website and they say the package MUST be received by USPS on the exact date printed on the label, if you can't get it to USPS that date they say to request a refund and print a new one.
They have never been that strict with me and my packages often arrive after the printed date but this would be the first time I'm risking them arriving before the printed date, would that be an issue?
