I bought an item February 2 from credit card and eBay estimation said item should arrive between February 18 and March 5. The seller gave a traking number which says the item was in Canada February 28, since that no more update was made. I try to contact my local PO they said since they was not the one to provided the tracking number they can’t locate the item with it. Only option is to wait. I try to contact the seller he ask me to be patient, which I was agree with. But today we march 15, 10 days after eBay estimation. So should I keep waiting or should I open a claim I don’t want to be that guy, that put bad name of a good seller but if I keep waiting, what would be my options? would I be able to open a claim if it doesn’t arrive? How long I can wait max before open a claim ?

You have 30 days after the latest estimated delivery date to open a claim for item not received on eBay. It's possible it's stuck in customs.
