Issues with selecting eBay Standard Envelope

Not sure if it's just me, but eBay won't let me select envelope shipping even though the buyer selected it and that my weight/dimensions are within requirements (1 oz, 4x7x1).

hopefully this gets resolved soon as i need to ship out my sold items by tomorrow. otherwise i will have to ship with a stamp because im not paying more for shipping then i got for the cards

Probably something to do with ebay making a change to "Trading Card" categories.  Having the same issue....can't select ebay standard envelope.  Going to give them a call.

Just had a long conversation with ebay support.  Maybe 24-48 hours to fix this.  They will honor other shipping methods, and reimburse.  That may or may not be true, but at least I have it in writing via the transcript.  Seems to be an issue related to the whole scale change to the Categories that they just implemented for Sports Trading Cards.

Thanks for the update, good to know for sure. I will probably hold off and hope they fix this soon and send via standard envelope. I do not want it to affect my Top Rated Seller status as I need to ship by end of day tomorrow so I will try to hold off as long as possible.

Ebay representative told me it would not  affect my Top Rated Seller status.  I have it in writing.  That being said, I'm also waiting until tomorrow to see if they get the fix in.

Nope... cannot purchase any ebay standard envelopes as of 5 p.m. EST... was on with virtual chat with Cust. Service- tried to tell me the issue was with how I set up initial listing... Turns out that was not the case

Same issue here. Won't let me select for recent sales today. Hopefully they fix it soon. Sick of ebay "fixing" things that aren't broken and causing problems for sellers.

Well at this point I'm just reinforcing what the others have been told. They are doing some system upgrade and the option is temporarily unavailable to use another option and they will reimburse me. I'm going to wait until tomorrow and see if they finish. I don't want to end up having to fight for the refund.
