Here is a question that I cannot find an answer too, but maybe someone knows.
I have two sales today but the USPS office closed at noon.
If I purchase the label today is it valid to mail on Monday, since the cost of postage goes up tomorrow (Sunday)? Or will I need to pay extra postage at the post office on Monday?
Thanks
Russ

If you pay for it today or any day, the label is good to go.

When you purchase your postage label, you are supposed to also choose which date it will be mailed on, up to 3 days in advance. If you purchase label today but choose to mail it on Monday's date, you will be charged the new rate.
If you choose today's date instead, you will be charged today's postage cost. It's very unlikely that on Monday your local PO will get involved but you might get charged by the APV system, which operates at sorting centers to detect underpaid postage.

That's the way it is "supposed" to work, but I printed ESUS letters on Saturday afternoon, stating the letters will be mailed on Monday (tomorrow), and it still printed the old postage rate.

I guess it has reverted, then. For many years, labels would be charged at the rate which applied on the date of purchase rather than the rate that matched the chosen mailing date, but then more recently I thought that sellers had reported being charged based on the mailing date.
