Is it okay to send item straight to buyer upon their request and skip sending to authenticator. Bc of price it automatically brought up the authenticator but buyer wants only him to receive it bc it has redemption benefits

Beware anyone who wants you to do something different from the way eBay insists it should be handled. You lose what little bit of support you have. eBay utilizes the authenticators for a reason, probably a high scam category.

And what will you do when this buyer files a not as described case and says the item is fake?? Then they return an old card, and you are stuck.

@micmon_3930 You don't have a lot of selling experience on this ID, and that makes you a target for scammers. They prey on those who come across as little to no experience yet list high dollar items. They lure you in with the promise of easy money then scam you. This platform offers a money back guarantee to all buyers, so they have an advantage already. By not sending to the authenticator, this is the buyer's way of setting you up for an item not as described case. It is a mistake on your part to do so. Always follow the policies on here and you'll fare better. Best of luck to you....

You're required to ship it to the address eBay provides.

I thought I read you couldn't communicate with a buyer until the transaction is completed when using an authenticator? Appears you can.......

OK here are the points ok... Not one single company verifies ebay to determine if their item is real or not... NOT ONE. WOW. NIKE PUMA ADIDAS CHANEL ROLEX BRIETLING LOUIE VUITTON NO ONE NEW BALANCE NO ONE OK. NOT ONE COMPANY SAYS THEY AGREE WITH ANY CONCLUSION EBAY MAKE OK... SO **bleep** SEND ANYTHING TO PEOPLE THAT EVERY COMPANY SAYS THEY WILL NOT BACK OK. SO THAT'S ONE BIG PROBLEM OK.. THEN WE HAVE OTHERS 212 PEOPLE WORK IN THAT EXPERT WAREHOUSE. ONLY ITEMS WORTH OVER £1000 ARE KEPT SECURELY. LIKE A CHANEL HAND BAG A ROLEX ETC.. BUT THE REST SIT ON SHELVES FOR 2 DAYS TILL THEY GET LOOKED AT.. BY WHY THOU.. SO THERE ARE 100 HIGH END TRAINERS 259 HIGH END HAND BAGS AND OVER 100 HIGH END WATCHES... SO WITH SAY WATCHES THEY ALL EMPLOY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS TO ENSURE THEIR GUNUINE. ROLEX FOR EXAMPLE LASER PRINT SERIAL CODES ALL OVER THE INTERNAL PART OF WATCHES AND CHANGE THE PLACEMENTS YEARLY OFK. AND ONLY THEIR VERIFIED DEALERS KNOW WHERE THEY ARE. ALSO THEIR DATABASE KNOWS WHERE TO LOOK AND WHAT THE SERIEL NUMBERS SHOULD BE FOR EVERY WATCH.. THEN WE GO TONTRAINERS

In general, never change from what your listing states you are going to do upon the sale
