Every few days I receive messages from individuals in various countries asking for shipping quotes, if I ship at all to their respective countries, or that EIS doesn't seem to be working or is outrageously expensive. EIS is active on all of my listings, I typically notice the issue with buyers from the UK, France, Italy, some eastern EU countries, as well as some south east Asian countries. Lately I've really only been seeing EIS orders for Canadian buyers.

EIS is blocking some shipping destinations even if you do not block them.
UK I know is one of them. It might depend on what you are listing.

All of your listings show EIS costs for France and Italy but none of them show a cost to the UK so the EIS must not ship your particular items there. I’ve noticed that a lot with the EIS and the UK.
It’s possible that buyers in some countries are asking as they want a price for you to ship directly but I think it’s more likely that if they really wanted you to do that, they would ask you if that was possible. I’m not familiar with the cost of shipping that type of item but when I compare your domestic shipping costs to the EIS shipping costs, I don’t think that the EIS are out of line.

I never lied to anyone, there were certain forwarders that would consistently claim they never received the products that were sent to them. I knew this because my buyers would contact me asking for all kinds of information about the product, shipping, packaging, and tracking because the forwarder would claim they never received the package and demand a laundry list of things from the buyer to find it, which they never would. After about $10k of lost material to certain ones I decided that I didn't like dealing with them very much.

So let me get this straight. -Your buyers claimed ... that the forwarders claimed ... that they never received the packages, correct? -So did it not occur to you that the BUYERS were lying to you? How would you know if the buyers received their items from the forwarders, exactly like they were supposed to, and were just trying to scam you for a refund?
What you're saying doesn't even make sense, sorry. -Why would the buyers need to contact YOU for details about what THEY ordered, or even the tracking, which they could already see on their eBay purchases page. -Unless you routinely failed to upload the tracking, then that would be your own fault.

Most of the buyers were from different countries, they each had the same issues with the same freight forwarders completely independent of each other. The forwarders would want details beyond tracking information such as exact weight and size of the package, dimensions of the product, the product box, I had one request a printout of detailed tracking information from USPS and wouldn't accept the online information. I sell consumer electronics where fraud and theft are common, especially video cards during the crypto mining boom. The buyers actually never requested refunds from me, they generally understood eBay's policy on freight forwarders, they just wanted to get their products delivered. I would follow up some time after to see if any of them got their products, they were still lost by the forwarder.

I guess it's possible that there were some unscrupulous FF's over time, but I bet they got shut down, and I've certainly never had a problem with any. Maybe as much as a quarter of my items go through them, so I appreciate what they do, considering those buyers probably just wouldn't buy from me otherwise.

I was just sharing my experience in dealing with international buyers. If you're going to hurl insults at me, I will simply ignore you moving forward.

Huh? -Which message # do you think I hurled any insults at you?
Please pay closer attention to who is or isn't being replied to in a message.

Its all good. You stated "disbelieve", not Believe. I thought you were calling me a liar. People are so unhinged and vile in these forums lately its hard to trust anyone. My apologies for taking your statement the wrong way.

Thank you. I couldn't tell if you misunderstood that one reply or you thought that one of my somewhat more 'pointed' replies was directed at you.

Hello! Excuse me for bothering but I saw your old story about Fake Return Tracking Number Scam and The case has been resolved in your favor.
Can you help me with same situation? What you did?
I opened case attached pics from USPS but Ebay solved case not my favor, I write next and next messages but they answered that this case did not be appeal.
What should I do? I get answers in 5 minutes after sending and it seems to me nobody read it, AI answers.
