International shipping

Wondering  if anyone is having problems with international shipping since the quarantine? Is it running the same as before or not at all. I haven’t had any international sales and was just wondering. Thanks

Re: International shipping

I ended all international sales once Covid started clogging up the mail stream.  From what I hear it can take months for packages to be delivered, when normally it would take a couple of weeks. Suspension of flights and mail going from air to sea is making for some very, very long delays.

Re: International shipping

I sent a package to Australia in early April. It took almost 7 weeks.

I sent a package to Australia June 6 it was delivered June 24.

Generally I have seen a marked improvement in international delivery times in the past month or so.

Re: International shipping

Yup, everything is slower now. USA to Canada through the GSP,  3 weeks, used to take 2 weeks. Having an item that was to be delivered yesterday, just says Arriving Late now.  Be safe.

Re: International shipping

You may want to check the USPS site for all the international service disruptions.  Many countries are not accepting packages.  Also, not sure which method you use to ship internationally, but  there has been an EDELCON  update on 7 /6 ( USPS first class international mail  that scans the package along the entire route and shows the package as delivered).

For the countries that are accepting packages you will find some very lengthy  estimated delivery dates.  I sent a package to Japan in early May, delivery date was Oct. 1.  Luckily, it was delivery yesterday.  I noticed there a lengthy delay in US customs  before shipment and again in most countries' customs.  ( that package sat in Japanese customs for one month).  Yes, all due to Covid -- our new reality.

Don't believe everything you hear. Although there may be some cases of a very long delivery, I track all my international shipment. Here are a few recent ones, country and delivery time (all during the virus situation and where the delivery scan was done):

Belgium: 7

Canada, various provinces: 9-23 days

Denmark: 23

Finland: 24

France: 7-31

Germany: 7-15

Greece: 16

Holland: 8-14

Hungary: 13

Italy: 11-23

Japan: 8-15

Mexico: 15-18

Norway: 34

Russia: 20

Singapore: 20

Slovakia: 14

Spain: 10-11

Thailand: 16

UK: most of them between 5-13, one in 20 days.

So it is not that bad, at least for my orders.
