Hello,
I am trying to ship a package internationally for the first time, and I have some questions about labeling. I'm hoping someone who has successfully shipped with USPS First Class International Package service could help!
I already paid for postage and printed out my label, which included the customs information. I taped it onto my package, as the directions said to do. Once I got to the post office, the clerk said I needed additional copies of that exact label to put in a separate clear sleeve. I've done that and plan to go back to the post office tomorrow. At this point, I'm just wondering if what the clerk told me is true since Ebay didn't instruct me to do this in the instructions that print out with the label, and multiple copies/labels did not automatically print out.
Thanks in advance!

I would suggest your clerk is a new hire.
Priority Mail does require 4 copies of the customs slip in a clear plastic sleeve.
But you said specifically First Class Mail. That only requires the single copy that eBay prints which I normally print on a self stick label (so I don’t have to tape it.) NO additional copies are needed. If they persist ask to talk to a manager as they do not know what they are talking about.
