Recently shipped couple of items first class. They used to be insured, but now there is a space where insurance amount used to be, looks like it has been discontinued. Did ebay or USPS discontinue insurance on first class labels?
Thanks,

There has never been any automatic insurance included for First Class packages. There might be some coverage for the special letter postage available for trading cards.

When I print labels thru ebay shipping, there was insurance on first class labels for the last 2-3 years.

Ive been shipping first class for 10 years and there has never been automatic insurance. You may be confused with how the shipping page looks but you have to check the box to have it added and pay for the insurance.

Although Priority Mail has minimal insurance ($50/$100) included automatically, First class insurance has always been extra and optional since I've been selling. You need to select the liability insurance under additional options below and then choose the kind of insurance you want (shipcover or USPS).

There was never automatic insurance on first class shipping. You can purchase insurance if you choose to, but you make it sound like it was automatic and that is incorrect. Best of luck to you....
