I have sent a message to the seller but they have not replied yet.

How much time should I give the seller to reply before lodging a claim with eBay?

Give the seller at least 48 hours to reply before alerting ebay.

In case this your first time dealing with opening a case make sure you open the correct one. Do not open INR (item not received) because tracking will show you did receive something. Open NAD (not as described).
