Greetings to all The inquiry is to find out how long I should wait to let eBay know that I have not received my packages and request a refund or a new item. The purchase was made on September 21,
In theory, the delivery date was 28, in usps it was said that the package was going well and would be delivered on the 24th by 8:00 pm. That same day at night being September 25 it changed to in transit, arriving late, and since then I have not known more.
The seller and I have had a nice and full conversation, I do not want him to be affected, however I can not miss the time limit to place a claim. I think the most fair thing to do is to wait until October 9th. If I haven't received the package yet, I will tell ebay that I didn't receive it. We are talking about $ 300 Priority Mail. Even 4 days ago I created a request in usps to know where the package is, but they have not told me anything.
I would like to know your opinions on this.
thank you very much

You have 30 days from the last delivery date given. I would not wait until the last day to be safe. I would file at 10 days past the last given delivery date.

1. You key date is to make certain is to make certain you open an Item Not Received case thru eBay's Resolution Center prior to 30 days after the latest Estimated delivery date. You can open a INR case the next day after the Estimated Delivery date. It is your call.
2. Recently bought an item that had Estimated delivery date of August 12. The last tracking update was on August 16 USPS advised your item is arriving late. The seller did ship me a replacement which I received. On Oct 2 the original shipment finally arrived - I shipped it back to the seller as I said I would. USPS could not tell us any thing about the status after August 16.
Now this item was only an item that was a less than $10 item and the seller had more than one available. You case may be different as it was a $300 item and probably only a one of a kind item.
