INR, tracking shows delivered

I (seller) bought shipping through ebay, why is Ebay even contacting me about this? Ebay should refund the buyer for INR, correct? Tried to contact an agent, got caught in an endless loop with no access to an agent.

Re: INR, tracking shows delivered

If a buyer has actually opened an INR case with eBay, all you need to do is post the tracking number to the case.

Re: INR, tracking shows delivered

Why would ebay refund the buyer? They will NOT be refunding your buyer or you if the item YOU listed and YOU shipped did NOT make it to the buyer...

they are contacting you because your buyer said they 'didn't get the item' and you have less than 2 days to 'respond' to the 'refund case' with either:

a.) the tracking number that shows it has been delivered or is still 'on the way'

b.) refund the buyer, out of YOUR pocket, in full.

only YOU will be refunding the buyer.

What does tracking show??

Why would Ebay refund the buyer, they didn't sell the item to them?

If tracking shows it was delivered, respond to the INR and upload the tracking number.

Have a great day.

As it says in the title, tracking shows delivered. Am I getting confused with Amazon, which WILL cover refunds if you buy shipping through them?

Re: INR, tracking shows delivered

I contacted the buyer, re-uploaded the tracking number which shows it was delivered, what else can I do?  Reading from another community thread, "Ebay has GREAT seller protection on INRs if the tracking shows delivered"

if you 'answered' the INR with the tracking number-you will be good (since it shows 'delivered').

Why is ebay contacting you? Because INR's are not 'connected' to the tracking/shipping system- they are a completely different system.

yes, you must be confusing with AZ. Here, if you do NOT answer yet the item tracking shows 'delivered' the buyer will 'win' and ebay will take the $$ from you AND ding your metrics for you not handling your customer.
