How to solve USPS tracking updates not sent to Ebay?

USPS Priority shipping label bought and printed from the ebay platform with tracking # automatically applied to the order details on 10/20/25.  In the last 2 days USPS.com tracking shows 4 tracking location updates as of 10/22/25, but ebay shows nothing, only that a label was generated, but not shipped.

An ebay chat customer service agent blamed USPS and told me to mark the item as 'not shipped' and then enter the same tracking number again.  This did not work.  USPS tracking info is still not showing on ebay, and made it worse showing that I didn't print a label until 10/22/25 when I actually did it on 10/20/25.

I buy and print all my USPS Priority Mail labels direct from ebay and have not had this problem with any other orders, so it is hard to believe that USPS is the problem.

Has anyone else run into this, and how did you solve it?  I have already contacted my customer with updates direct from USPS tracking, but it now appears that I will be charged with a late shipping defect from ebay based on the lack of tracking data on ebay for this order.  Or worse, item not delivered.

I just posted today the same situation.  Five of my recent shipments still show "label created" on eBay in spite of the fact that if you click on the tracking number they all show they are all either in transit, out for delivery or in 2 cases actually delivered. I did an online chat with ebay because I was concerned about a metrics ding and was assured this would not happen.  But if it does, I have the chat transcript to show that an ebay rep told me this would not be the case, and that they could see that there was proper scanning and delivery confirmation updates through USPS.

Interesting.  I also posted about this today and replied to this post.  Same thing happened to me and my shipments were also all on October 20th.  This is clearly and eBay issue.  I have a transcript from an online chat where they said there would be no metrics dings, so I plan on using that to get any removed.

Thanks for providing that screen shot.  My lead time is 4 days but I normally ship within 2 days.  My window for on time shipping and uploading tracking number was up until yesterday, 10/23, for the label I'm not getting tracking on.  As of this morning, 10/24, I haven't received any defect.  Maybe, that's because I've had 2 chat sessions with ebay support about this issue and they gave me a case number and assured me that they see the USPS scans and I will not be charged a defect.  It wasn't clear, however, if I will have to contact them again to get any defects removed.
