I wanted to print a shipping label, but it got caught in my printer and it came out all damaged. When I tried to reprint it, I got this message in red from eBay:

"We can't let you print this shipping label more than 5 times.

So I could not reprint the label. I never had this before. What is going on??? What can I do now? I need to reprint the label. Perhaps eBay should learn how to count.

Did you in fact try to print / reprint 5 times?

If you go to your seller hub on the left column is a link marked "shipping labels". Click that and bring up the list of labels printed. Find the order in question and on the right of that screen there is a drop down menu. Click that and click reprint.

If it still will not let you reprint then the only option is to void the label (choose "didn't print" as the reason) and create a new label. You will get refunded for the cancelled label in about a week to 10 days (Post office wants to be sure you didn't actually use it).

I tried to print only one label, which was damaged by the printer. When I tried to reprint it, I got the message. In my many years on eBay I never had to try to reprint a label five times.
In my Seller Hub, I don't see any links to labels that were printed, only to new ones that need to be printed.

This is where I went in the beginning, and got this message:

We can't let you print this shipping label more than 5 times.

I had printed only one label that got struck in the printer.

It's not just you I am not sure why it is happening but I have seen posts about it
these are a few but there was more .

You may just need to void that label and try again

Thanks, but it seems no one has an answer to the problem. I wish someone at eBay would read these posts and tries to solve the problems.

Just got this error because their system of new vs old selling pages is screwed up. Wish they would just let the seller stick with the old version of the pages. lol now I wait 2 weeks for a credit on a label screw up because of their fault.

One thing I did when this "new & Improved" page came along was to abandon eBay labels in favor of a free service, PirateShip.com. That way I have something that works and a "back up" (eBay) should PS have a glitch.

Perhaps adding another tool as a back up service makes sense for when the glitches occur?
