How to remove an item after it has sold

i am from hungary, i put out a lego set on ebay to sell. Someone purchased it but after it has been payed that i found out i cant ship with the fedex ground economy because it keeps saying that my "shipping from" needs to be in the united states to get a label however as i said before i am in hungary. What should i do? Can i change the shipping or should i just delete the whole item (and if i should how do i do that?)

If you cancel the transaction, you'd have to choose an option that would ding your account, something you can't afford to do as a new user.

 

What I would suggest is to contact the buyer, tell them that you chose a shipping service that you can't use in your country and would they object to your using an international shipping service from Hungary. 

 

If the buyer agrees, just choose an appropriate service. 

 

Note that you undercharged for shipping but that's your error and you can't ask the buyer for more money. You'll have to pay the difference from your own pocket.

Buy postage locally then add the tracking info to eBay. You can't buy postage through eBay on .com unless shipping from the US.

 

Your listing was set up wrong. When you list on the .com site, no matter where you are located, domestic shipping is to the US and international shipping is to everywhere else, including your own country.

 

If shipping from Hungary you cannot offer a US service like FedEx Ground Economy. You must use flat rate shipping and choose one of the below options. (Screenshot is old so the listing form will look very different, but the "outside the US" shipping options are the same.)

And let the buyer know the expected transit time with the service you're using - add a cushion for customs clearance on both ends.

 

Buyer is expecting package in a short window since listing was set up with domestic shipping, not international.

Also you have media mail on that lego set...you can't ship that by media mail
