I ordered heat bulbs, first problem was item was always "in progress", then it said "delivered", then it was changed back to "in progress". I found the item in a store so I contacted the seller and said cancel the order. It was not canceled, and later I got the order all SMASHED. The GLASS bulbs were sent in a PLASTIC bag, who sends glass in a plastic bag. I sent pictures of everything and requested a refund. The seller wants me to pay for shipping, second option E Bay sends a return and deducts from the refund. I dont feel this is right, the seller sent the item in a improper way. Also the seller said it had to be returned by Feb. 11, today is Feb. 7. The order states returns excepted thru March 5, so their demand to have it sent within a few days is not right. I feel I should get a return label at their cost, and a full refund.

The process @wolson1204 is to file a return request and select the reason "arrived damaged" and upload photos of the smashed glass bulbs and plastic polymailer.
Seller will have to either provide a prepaid return ship label or refund without requiring a return. If the seller does neither then within a few days you'll see an option to "ask eBay to step in."

You should be aware that a seller cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped.
Was this shipped USPS or via FedEx or UPS?
Was it a clear plastic bag? Did it say anything about "damaged" on it?
If you have not opened an eBay case, Item Not Described is probably a better case to open than one asking to return. Include pictures of the item and the packaging (with the label).

If you filed an INAD, the seller pays return shipping.
What reason did you choose as the reason for the return?

ALL eBay buyers, as well as sellers, owe it to themselves to read the eBay Money Back Guarantee for buyers, preferably BEFORE beginning to buy or sell here.
You received an item that's not as described. You have 30 days after the item's arrival date to open an item not as described case. You are not required to contact the seller. Have you or have you not opened the case?
After opening the case, you then give the seller 3 days to either send you a prepaid return label, or to simply tell you to keep the item and refund you. If that doesn't happen, you return to the case and ask eBay to step in. You'll be refunded and told to keep the item.
PLEASE read the MBG. It's for your benefit.
