How do you ship multiple items from one customer?

as the title says, how do you ship multiple items from one customer, when the item is particularly big? (maybe like 15 inch for every L W H)

I understand if it's small item, I can simply put them inside the bigger package. They are usually taken care of first class, or parcel ground as well as priority mail by USPS.

Talking about big items, can I print multiple labels for each box? (I heard it's not a good practice and can cause tracking issue, and even makes the item gets lost)

Or try to use 1 label, and maybe put them into bigger box? (in this case, the excessive size over maximum requested size starts over-charging?)

if I don't have bigger box, can I simply tape them around (which I am afraid they might be torn off).

You will need to explain further.

Are these separate orders from a single buyer who paid for each one seprately?

Separate listings that you combined into a single order with a single payment?

A multiple quantity listing where the buyer chose a quantity greater than one?

It sounds like your best option is to have the buyer pay for separate shipping. It's great that you are trying to get them shipped together to save some money for your buyer, good for you.

Since you don't have another box which is large enough to fit two of these large items, that would be your answer right there. Due to the current quarantine it's going to be difficult for you to go out to find a large enough box.  So since you don't have the required boxes, you have your answer already.

No you cannot reprint a label. You pay one time for one label and if you attempt to use a reprinted label your item will be shipped back to you. You will lose your label amount paid and your buyer will be delayed in receiving all of their items. Lose/lose for both of you.

No you cannot tape two boxes together. That would be the equivalent of reusing a paid label. Each box has to have it's own shipping label. You would end up getting these returned to you and again, lose your paid label amount.

I hope this info helps you out. Best of luck to you....

do you know why the customer's shipping charge which the buyer paid is a lot less than the calculated one? I had to pay the rest myself because it did not cover it. Is there a way to fix this?

Re: How do you ship multiple items from one customer?

I looked at your recently sold items, and I don't see anything that looks particularly big.  As I recall, all of those sold items included free shipping.

If each item is less than 12x12x12, and when you place them into a larger box that is bigger than 12x12x12, there will be a dimensional charge.

If your items require multiple boxes, once you print the first label, there is an option to PRINT ANOTHER LABEL.  So just input the correct dimension and weight for each additional box.
