How do I un-accept a refund?

Back on Dec. 16 last year I ordered a 78 vinyl of "Baby It's Cold Outside", but when it arrived last week it was destroyed.

I asked for a refund, but the seller offered $40 back when the total was $47.40.

But reflexively I accepted the offer without thinking.

Is there some way I can undo that action?

On eBay you only have one opportunity to open a return case and once accepted there is no way to undo. Your only other recourse would be via your method of payment to the seller. If you paid using PayPal you can open a case there for the difference or if you used your personal CC. Best of luck to you....

Try communicating with the seller.  If I was the seller, I would just give you the extra $7.40 and take care of you with an apology.  If the seller refuses, you can attempt to reach out to eBay or to PayPal.  Otherwise your Credit Card company, but save that for the absolute last-ditch effort.

You do NOT want to be a frequent-flyer of chargebacks because the company will treat you better when you have a genuine big problem if you have a low rate like 0.01% transactions are chargebacks or something vs someone who has a 3% rate etc.  They KNOW who their troublemaker cardholders are based on history.  If you spend a lot of money on your credit card, do a lot of transactions, and have a great history, when you really need them to pull through for you, they will have your back and side with you even if they disagree with you.
