How do I handle returns?

If I sell something and the buyer wants to return it, how do I handle that?

Who pays and how much?

How do I handle returns?

Not enough info to advise properly, but usually it is best to approve it, issue the return label and refund only when the item comes back to you . You'll be on the hook for return shipping unless a remorse reason is given for the Return. Good luck.

Depends on the type of return and your chosen return policy... if the buyer or you pay return shipping.

If it's a sale not as described return, you must accept the return and pay shipping no matter what your return policy states.

How do I handle returns?

Ebay handles all my returns for me with 30 day free returns, they send the buyer the return label and leave me out of it.

if it were me I would just say yes to any returns and figure you are going to eat that shipping both ways.

there is not much use in fighting returns ...........its not worth the stress to me

You will need to provide some details.  What reason is given for the return and what is your return policy on that item?  To help with an amount, it would also be beneficial to see the listing.

The short answer is to study the info eBay provides on the subject (see link):
