How do I get Signature Confirmation for an international shipment?

Hey guys I sold an item to Canada (I'm in the US) for more than $750. I'm told I need signature confirmation due to the high value. However, I'm also told no USPS service offers international signature confirmation? When I go to print the label there are only USPS services offered. No FedEx or UPS. It does say "Additional signature has been automatically added" but I don't see any box checked for a signature like I normally do. What am I supposed to do?

With Priority Mail international mail you can get a Return Receipt as proof of delivery.

PS Form 2865, Return Receipt for International Mail (Avis de Reception), is a pink card that is attached to a registered item or a Priority Mail International item at the time of mailing and that is removed and signed at the point of delivery and returned to the sender. Return receipt service provides the sender with evidence of delivery. Return receipts are completed in the country of destination in accordance with its internal regulations, which may not require the addressee’s signature except under special circumstances. These receipts are returned to the sender by airmail.

Nah. That card would need to be returned to me within 30 days of the item being delivered, which there is no guarantee. Plus I've never heard of this before.

You'll be better off  listing your high-end items with GSP next time

Have you tried eBay International Standard?! It's through USPS but covered by different rules
