Hi, fairly new TCG seller on Ebay and trying to figure some things out.
Started using the "eBay Standard Envelope" delivery option and have sent about 20 cards so far no issue except for one that has not updated tracking in about a week. I am sure the customer is going to complain soon so I want to get ahead and let them know I will keep an eye on it and refund if necessary.
My question is, where am I suppose to file the complaint? Normally I could upload tracking for packages through USPS to help find delayed/lost packages but eBay's new standard envelope tracking does not appear on USPS website. Any help on how I should proceed would be very appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

The shipping protection plan (SPP) which is included with this service, and the process for making a claim, are described in the terms of service here:

You would have to file a missing mail case with USPS. You can try a call to the toff free number on the USPS web site on Monday too.

Why can;t someone post the link to the form? It is impossible to find

the form is here
https://www.pip-claim.com/PIPClaim/eBayIntClaim/CreateeBayClaim
make sure that the buyer said they never got the item. its required to get a claim to pay out

The PIP Claim form is demanding a Paypal Address for Seller (required). I dont have paypal and refuse to use paypal. They apparently only pay claims out through paypal. Total Scam it seems from the get go these Standard Envelopes. For every 100 we send about 12-15 never show up or people just say they never show up because tracking never updates to delivered. They cause me more headaches and parasitic scammers then they will ever be worth!

Just received my refund on a loss. It covered the purchase price, but not the postage I had to refund the customer. What gives??

This is now a broken link. There seems to be no way to file a lost standard envelope claim

The link works for me.

What do you want them to do instead?

@osionline: Tracking the standard envelopes will never show Delivered because the carrier cannot scan those. They do not have tracking barcodes on them. You are relying on the honesty of your buyers. If you do have to refund one then the link for filing your claim is above. (which does work as I tried it just now) Paypal is not a scam and will not deduct anything from the refund passing through to you.

Except for some junk mail, I see what is being delivered to my mail box re cards/envelopes most every day if I am getting mail. Pretty much all mail is scanned into the system, not just packages with tracking.

I got my first "item lost" message from a buyer, looks like I have to wait 30 days from the shipping date before I can file a claim. I took a look at the claim form and there's a problem for me, I don't have a Paypal account anymore, my Paypal got shutdown in 2019 and I can't open another account so I don't understand how I'm supposed to do this now. Do I just use the buyer's paypal email so the payout goes directly to him?

You refund thru ebay. Go to sold items in MY EBAY. Find the transaction. Somewhere on the left, there is a drop down menu , click it and find refund .
