Standard envelope shipping is awesome, except for a couple of things. I propose eBay should make these adjustments:
1. Allow me to file a lost mail claim without waiting 30 days. I will refund a customer if their card hasn't arrived within 2-3 weeks, but then I have to set a reminder to go on and file a claim after 30 days. Let us file a claim when we issue a refund, with the understanding that the claim won't be looked at until 30 days have passed.
2. Make the claims process easier. Why can't you retrieve the necessary information when given the Order #? Having a "File A Claim" button on the Order page would be incredibly helpful.
Does anyone else have ideas to improve the service?

Yikes. Don't know anything about this shipping service, but would like to know more. 30 days is crazy.

As if 30 days is a reasonable shipping time.

It is only available in certain categories.

The problem I face is tracking, it isn't up to date and at times I don't delivered.

This happens to me too. The tracking is because it only gets scanned in when going through a major hub. The number of lost items is frustrating and eBay can't fix that. The built-in insurance covers lost mail. It's just having to wait 30 days to start the claim process that sucks.

If you have the buyer open a case and let it run the time ebay will issue the refund to the buyer and you do not have to do anything.
