My buyer agreed by email that FedEx is the better way to ship him the item he purchased. Using my own FedEx account and discount, the price is cheaper for the correct amount of insurance ($700 worth) and it will arrive in the same amount of time or faster than the USPS service he paid for. (Using the post office would hike the cost to much more than he paid). The problem is I don’t know how to indicate the change from USPS to FedEx on the shipping page. (I didn’t put FedEx as an original shipping option). How do I handle this? Thank you!

By "FedEx account", I'm not sure whether you mean an account that is independent of eBay, or tied to eBay.

Orangehound, thank you. I was afraid the sale would be marked as not shipped if I didn’t use the original method to get it to my buyer. Yes, it was via my personal FedEx account and shipping it this way (with the buyer’s okay) saved me a lot of money...some of which, I chose to refund to him.
