I was selling an item that I had 3 of, and they all need to be shipped in separate boxes. Somebody just bought all 3 of them at once but Ebay gave me a shipping label with all 3 items combined. Is there a way to split that into 3 separate labels?

Yes and its easy - after you print the first label with the weight and service you want for the first item, just click on "purchase additional label for this shipment" on the right. And then repeat again.

This seems to be the most common answer.
Meanwhile how do you split a shipment. I cannot find the answer. I have two orders, one buyer. One item is available now. If I print one now the customers whole order will fall into the paid and ship category.

This is why you should never list something that you do not have in hand.
