HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Afternoon, I'm from Brazil , my son is traveling in the USA and wanted a Playstation 4 Pro .  I went to the ebay site and made the purchase with a seller.  he had 693 positive recommendations and top seller logo. I bought it on september 10th and the surprise at not replying to any of my emails after the purchase.

Predicting to be cheated , I sent e-mail with ebay and the answered me to wait for the 18 of september.

Well today is September 19th i ran into the item and to my outrage I will have to wait until September 25th to wait for an answer from the seller ( Obviously not going to contact ) from that day yo contact ebay and wait again fo more days. I checked thtat, just like me, 23 other people were chetead between saturday and sunday ( september 9th and 10th ). I urgently need ebay to solve this refund problembecause I need to buy again with another seller. My soon will return to Brazil day October 8th. I'm at risk of gim returnin without his console and money getting stuck on ebay should he ever return to the USA.

The problem is that buyer doesn’t know if he will have enough time to got the gift for his son, if he waits till the long process ends…

He will have his money back! …so he can purchase another item for his son, and for his peace of mind, he can call eBay and let them know that he and other 23 buyers have exactly same problem.

Yes, its like a BIG WALL.

eBay doesnt care whether the buyer needs the item by the 8th or not, they care about allowing what tiny bit of due process the seller is allowed here.

eBay doesntm care that other buyers have the same issue, they care about allowing what tiny bit of due process the seller is allowed here.

Had the OP bothed with due dilligence they'd have realized something was fishy BEFORE they bid, when the seller has sold nothing but low end sports cards and they suddenly have hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

I feel bad for the OP and the others, but a tiny bit of research would have helped them not waste time and have their money tied up for weeks.

That is not the case, the seller was selling items of small value, 1 dollar, 2 dollars, and that weekend began selling more expensive items like consoles, professional cameras and etcx. Maybe they used their positive feedbacks with smaller values to sell the more expensive items, they were around 50 expensive items sold that weekend and none delivered or responded, what I wanted was to speed up just the case of the response from the seller that will not answer. I'm trying to get in touch with him since September 10 and now I'll have to wait until the 25th.

Perhaps a hacked account?  Was there a gap of a few months between the last sale of the smaller and bigger items?  Were the prices a little, "too good to be true?"

There was a gap of about a month between the low end sales and the higher end stuff, but the prices were average to high

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

normal prices, bought for $ 355, other sellers exist from $ 390 to $ 399, the reason for the purchase option with this seller was for having the top seller logo and for being in the same state that my son is visiting "Michigan" I thought delivery would be faster, he returns to Brazil on October 8, I'm afraid of not having enough time.

I have never said to the buyer to call eBay to speeding up the process!!!!!!!!!!! …I don’t know where you got this from??????

I said:

If you have no respond from seller, it is possible that something happened to him (hospital, jail……..and another possible idea, his account was hacked!)

It is just a routine; if you see something suspicious call support and let them know.

Why do so many posters backtrack and claim they didn't say something when their words are still up, for all to see? Its clear as day what was said. He told the OP to call ebay to get the purchase cancelled since it won't arrive in time. No amount of backtracking will change what was original said.

There is no reason to call ebay. The OP has opened an item not received case and simply needs to wait now.3 business days is hardly a long time, she can ask eBay to step in after the 3rd business day and they will refund her.

I think because back in the day they could self report a post and the mods 99% of the time pulled it
