HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Afternoon, I'm from Brazil , my son is traveling in the USA and wanted a Playstation 4 Pro .  I went to the ebay site and made the purchase with a seller.  he had 693 positive recommendations and top seller logo. I bought it on september 10th and the surprise at not replying to any of my emails after the purchase.

Predicting to be cheated , I sent e-mail with ebay and the answered me to wait for the 18 of september.

Well today is September 19th i ran into the item and to my outrage I will have to wait until September 25th to wait for an answer from the seller ( Obviously not going to contact ) from that day yo contact ebay and wait again fo more days. I checked thtat, just like me, 23 other people were chetead between saturday and sunday ( september 9th and 10th ). I urgently need ebay to solve this refund problembecause I need to buy again with another seller. My soon will return to Brazil day October 8th. I'm at risk of gim returnin without his console and money getting stuck on ebay should he ever return to the USA.

I don’t think you were cheated by the seller, it doesn’t look like. Assuming that seller is only one who is running all his ads on eBay, and something bad happened to him (hospital, jail…) then he won’t be able to replay to you and other buyers …and all his eBay ads will run until they automatically expire.

If I were you, I would buy another item now from a different seller, then call eBay about this immediately and cancel the purchase.

You REALLY dont know how all this works do you?

The buyer has file a case against the seller, the seller gets the chance to provide shipping or a reply, then if they dont, the buyer can ask ebay to step in. The process takes time. You cant just call and get it all magically solved by Mother Ebay

You can't call eBay and cancel a purchase, that is simply not how it works here. You can only open an item not received case which it sounds like you did so now you have to follow that process.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is not the case, the seller was selling items of small value, 1 dollar, 2 dollars, and that weekend began selling more expensive items like consoles, professional cameras and etcx. Maybe they used their positive feedbacks with smaller values to sell the more expensive items, they were around 50 expensive items sold that weekend and none delivered or responded, what I wanted was to speed up just the case of the response from the seller that will not answer. I'm trying to get in touch with him since September 10 and now I'll have to wait until the 25th.

I see you really don’t have a clue what I was talking about. Process is already started, so he doesn’t have to wait for another week, or so, until it got resolved. He can purchase another item and for his peace of mind, call eBay and let them know that he and other 23 buyers have exactly same problem. Seller doesn’t respond, so you don’t know what happened to him.

The buyer HAS to wait till the date given in the case to escalate it and get a refund. It doesnt matter if he did it to one or 500 people, the same rules apply. Please stop giving bad advice

Wow, this is like talking to the wall.

The problem is that buyer doesn’t know if he will have enough time to got the gift for his son, if he waits till the long process ends…

“…I urgently need eBay to solve this refund problem because I need to buy again with another seller. My son will return to Brazil day October 8th…”

He will have his money back! …so he can purchase another item for his son, and for his peace of mind, he can call eBay and let them know that he and other 23 buyers have exactly same problem.

I'd have to recheck but I think I read this in the OP:

"I urgently need ebay to solve this refund problembecause I need to buy again with another seller."

Seems OP needs the refund to respend.

That won't speed up the process. You ignore the fact that an INR has been opened. IF its a hijacked account, ebay still requires the buyer to follow the same process & file for a refund.

I am not talking about speeding up the process! I am talking about buyers concerns about getting the gift for his son on time!

And I was referring to you telling the buyer to call eBay.  FWIW  eBay doesn't care about the buyer getting the gift for his son on time and there is no reason to call eBay and tell them it's a gift. It doesn't change anything.

Perhaps a hacked account?  Was there a gap of a few months between the last sale of the smaller and bigger items?  Were the prices a little, "too good to be true?"
