Hello, I recently purchased two Givenchy shirts for $389.70 from a Seller that Claimed them to be Authentic. Ended up being a replica. Asked seller for a return and agreed. However I went to USPS and they said they would mark my package as “Refused” And return it to the seller. Well my Item Was returned and delivered but in my Ebay return case it tells me to ship the item and enter a tracking number. I tried entering the same tracking as the package i received “since there was no new shipping label/Tracking at the moment “ . Now i’m short $389.70 and the Seller isn’t answering and well ebay has no direct email or # contact.

Wow, you shouldnt have done that. You opened the pkg,and the p.o. was willing to mark it return to sender? I think the only thing you can do now is if you paid by cc, try for a chargeback. You have an incorrect tracking number to enter in any Ebay or Paypal case.

Enter an alias tracking number @gordos899. Put it together like this:
420 + last-5-digits-of-your-item-number + original-tracking-number
For example, if the original tracking number is 12345678 and your 5 digit item number is 98765, the alias tracking number is 420 98765 12345678. Try it at USPS.com to see that the alias tracking number is valid, then enter that into your return case.

If they marked the package as refused, that voided your MBG.
You should have opened a case on Ebay and done the return through it.

Oh, my. When the seller agreed to the return, the seller also provided a return shipping label for Authenticity claims. That number is the tracking number that eBay is looking for you to enter... to prove you returned the fakes. Oh, my.

I am not sure how that will work marking your package as Refused. This sounds like you just changed your mind and did not even look at item.
Is the Tracking Number registering with USPS yet?

i (in fact) did inspect the item the man at USPS told me he can mark it at refused when i told him i was here to make a return from a purchase i made off ebay. The Tracking label I used to return the item is the same tracking as when i received the item. Tracking is registered and updated as delivered to original sender.

Good, I am glad the package was delivered to the sender. Hopefully you will receive your refund soon.

Elena @gordos899 eBay is waiting for your separate tracking number, but they won't take the same tracking number again. Did you enter the tracking number 420 + 00794 (the last 5 digits of the item number) + the same tracking as when your received the item in the separate case?
So the whole combined number is 420007949405508205496363869473 and when eBay sees it's delivered back (already, see here) you'll get the remainder of your refund for the separate return case.

Hi I actually Put in the original tracking number as i thought that would be the best thing to do. however it already says it’s delivered yet no full refund for this item.

I'm sorry but everyone needs to read the policies when they choose to use a service. This platform offers a MBG to all buyers but there are exceptions. Not covered: The buyer refused delivery for any other reason
So it makes no difference that the tracking shows it was delivered back to the seller as that act voided your MBG. The employee at the PO isn't a seller on this platform so he would not be familiar with the rules a buyer needs to follow. Best of luck to you....

the MBG is there for the buyers to use......it was given to the buyer for this type of situation
deciding to improvise with a return can have unintended consequences as you are finding out
I hope this works out

You need to prove to eBay that you used the label that was provided to you.
