Went to the post office to mail item. The USPS says that the address does not exist. It is the address in the PayPal transaction. I checked on Maps and it says that it is a place for some tee shirt sales dot com. The satellite view shows a fancy looking (to me) house.
I did not send the item. I have contacted the buyer asking for an accurate, existing address.
But now I am concerned. If they send me a new existing address and I ship the item, will I be covered if something happens? This item is a lot of money (to me, anyway). I never checked feedback until after. The buyer has zero feedback. They have been a member for a couple of years, I believe. Ugh! I'm just worried about this one.
Any advice is helpful. Thank you in advance!

It could be a vanity address. Cancel it with the reason something is wrong with the buyers address, you'll get all your fees back, look to see if the button to automatically relist is selected. Buyer can repurchase with a viable address.

If the address is not the one with eBay/ PayPal: then do not ship to it.
You are only covered under the address given.

Yes, cancel the sale and refund; tell customer they have to issue a valid address.

Have you tried printing the label on eBay? If it is bad just cancel due to problem with buyers address and relist.
