Goods claimed to in Australia but sent from overseas

I am noticing that a lot of goods are advertised as being in Australia and are actually sent from overseas. I think that this is not on I have reported 2 instances to E bay but as yet have not heard back from them. When I buy a item from E bay I check to see where it will be it is located and usually buy from a seller from Australia. But I also buy from overseas and I am willing to wait for the Items. But when an item is marked in Sydney as posted on the 2nd of Feb and not hear in Forster 300 klm away  I think it is wrong and giving Australia Post and Couriers a bad name.
