Good luck getting USPS boxes

So I have been ordering boxes and they are never being shipped by USPS so I ask my local postmaster if he could get me some boxes. He said he ordered 6 weeks ago and they still have not been shipped, he said the whole postal system has been thrown into total dysfunction by the new Postmaster General.

Yea since Covid, I’ve been ordering 2 months before I’m out. And I order an extra 1 month supply just in case that sits in the corner.

I had no problem getting an order this month. Took about the same amount of time as usual.

It depends on the type of box or package. For instance the Priority Padded Envelopes can get back ordered a lot because so many people order them.

I ordered 4 different Priority boxes on Saturday and they shipped to me today.

Not sure how long it will take to get here but I order early.

On 8/3 I ordered 5 different boxes. 2 were shipped 3 are still showing "processing"

On 8/20 I ordered 3 sizes - all 3 say "processing"

...to use inside boxes as free padding, cushions, flotation devices, etc. That's the single most-abused free mailer offered by USPS. I'm not surprised that they're running out of them.
