Free returns only showing up to 20 % restocking fee

Hi guys and gals, Help me out here.  I updated some of our listings now to free returns.  We never get returns on these items and would like to keep the little top rated plus discount and badge.  But we don't get the options for the up to 50% restocking fee.  Only 20% seems to be available.  I did about 30 listings this way but it only shows 20%.  If they use the items I want the 50%.

I think your confusing being allowed to do a partial refund of up to 50%
There won't be any restocking fees at all anymore .

When you offer free returns, the % you can deduct is up to 50% if the item comes back used, damaged, or has a loss of value. If you try out the feature today, the options are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50% increments.

No. You will no longer have the ability to charge upfront restocking fees. However, for listings with free returns, you will be able to issue a partial refund to the buyer if the item is returned damaged, or has been opened or used. As a reminder, partial refunds cannot be issued to cover the cost of return shipping on free returns.

ebay is capping restock fees at 20% and later this year you can't have a restocking fee if you offer free returns even for buyers remorse.

Re: Free returns only showing up to 20 % restocking fee

I looked at both links and that it what I thought would show up where you could click up to 50% fees but mine shows 0, 15, 15, and 20 still so I clicked on 20.  We don't want to lose the discount on all of our items so I put the free returns on the items we have never had a return on and some of our best sellers.  I imagine we will get more information here soon.  I read somewhere there would be a link on our seller page to opt in and we haven't seen that either but it may have shown up when they first started talking about this and we just ignored it.  Have a great day and thanks for the answers.

You don't need to specify the 50%, its not a restocking fee. If you offer free returns and the buyer returns the item damaged, you'll have the option, when you go to issue the refund, to issue a partial refund. its not something you will specify anywhere.
