First Class or Priority

I sell some clothing items that are under 1 pound to ship, First Class.  But, I want the Customer to have the choice of Priority Shipping if they prefer.

I have a Policy that is called First Class or Priority, Customer Choice,  I have selected First Class and added another service and clicked Priority Mail.  I've saved the policy.

The item as an example is a Coral Top, with a total shipping weight of 10 ounces and I have selected the above policy when setting up my item.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coral-Top-Blair-Cut-Out-Neckline-Short-Sleeves-Womens-Plus-3XL/153432394153

When I look at my item in my store it shows the First class amount of $3.82 and next to it (See Details) when you click (See Details) it shows just the First Class Shipping Amount and NO OPTION to change to Priority Mail

Is there a way to set this up in a Shipping Business Policy, so the customer has the choice of First Class or Priority Mail, in case they want the item shipped faster?

Thanks

eBay, in all its infinite wisdom, has decided that no matter what the seller denotes as shipping preferences, eBay will only show the customer the options that are the least expensive.

Re: First Class or Priority

Been on Ebay for a long time, but as you can see, a newbie to the forums.  Searched several ways, but was not sure how to phrase it right to find what I needed.

Thanks for your quick help, I thought I was going bonkers when I couldn't get it to work.  I guess Ebay thinks customers aren't smart enough to make a choice.  LOL.

I'll quit struggling with it now.

Hi @kyforsale

Based upon your question, during the weekly chat, to which anyone can partake in - https://community.ebay.com/t5/Weekly-Chat-with-eBay-Staff/Community-Chat-December-11-1-00-pm-PT-Gene... I asked this question in your behalf, and you can see the question and reply in message 81 on page 3.

I would like to have had more time to respond to the reply given, as based on your inquiry because it made little sense to me - as your way includes both cheap and fast - as the 'blue' Trinton, informed us that it should include both options; if I read it correctly. (This chat session only allows for 1 hour a week. So I ran out of time.)

I invite you to tag Trinton into this conversation if you'd like to get further clarification - asking him directly.  In part, this is what was said, "...any options that does not provide a faster or cheaper selection will be eliminated."  So since you, I, and others (I reckon), would like to offer both options to our customers (fast and cheap), this statement is confusing - at least to me anyway.  Therefore, it would so appear that the information I gave to you originally still stands correct; sellers can offer one or the other, but not both.  But hey, I tried...

I wish you well.
