I have used First Class International Shipping for years when shipping from the United States to other countries on eBay. Today I started receiving error messages (attached).

Now of course, I expect you will have to fight for each of those things, but it seems to be on their radar, and it seems like a fix is in the works.
Can you tell us which rep name and the SR# if available.
If you did not get an SR# it would be benificial in the future to ask for it as it is the direct link to the conversation you had with the rep and to that phone calls notes.

Yes, those are things I should have gotten. I was just happy not to get the "what problem?" runaround. She was also going to immediately put in a credit for the difference if PayPal shipping would've worked.
Or for the difference to ship from usps.com direct.
She is also the one that brought up shipping time dings being forgiven.

wrong. they do not offer first class international on usps.com It is a usps problem. For some reason, when you go INTO the post office, you can mail packages this way though. Frustrating

Why not print your first class international labels on eBay? It would be less expensive than at the post office.

It was fixed a year ago..the original post is from January 2018. 🙂

I did this today and Ebay said twice I could still ship my 3 ounce package internationally first class as that is what I had it listed. I had it listed as that because I watched videos made by Suzanne A "forgot last name at the moment" and she said she works for Ebay and that for Canada they keep requesting to let US sellers know that they really want first class as a shipping serivce. I read up on it and it said anything under four pounds. So I went back in for a whole day and individually relisted all my under four pound items to first class. Than someone from canada wanted to buy an item. I went to print the shipping label and it was 5 times the amount they had paid for a one dollar item and I just could not pay that myself for a dollar item. Idk why it is even an option in Ebay if it isnt the amount that it is supposed to be and than when I googled it again this time I saw that it has to be a document only .. and that is what usps said as well. documents only and it has been so since jan 2018 apparently. But yet Ebay CSR's don't have a clue that this is the case. I called two separate times. I don;t even feel like dealing with this again and I have so many listings with first class for international that it isn't even funny. and when I try to change everything with the program that is supposed to change everything at once it never captures all of my listings. only a few. Frustrating to spend so much time on something that most likely won' t sell again.
