Fedex shipping label page orientation

eBay shipping question. I have the 2 to a sheet self adhesive labels. When I try to print Fedex labels from eBay it keeps putting the labels in the wrong origination that prints onto both labels. How to I get it to print the labels sideways? It's very annoying.

same issue here... eBay does not care about anyone printing problems. It does not bring money in.

I use chrome on a windows 10 system and finally figured this out

ridiculous to have to jump through hoops to make it work ... thanks ebay 😞

I downloaded the PDF of the label

select "show in folder"

right click on the file in your hard drive

"open with" Microsoft Edge and print from there

change orientation to landscape

change "size to fit" to "actual size"

it may not work with other operating systems or browsers

It also works for label sheets if you save it as a PDF and then open it in Firefox and when printing, change the orientation to landscape (no scaling needed).

First reported on 02-11-2019, still an issue as of 9-26-2019 (over half a year later).

From reading posts, workaround hack only works on FireFox and Edge, and does not work on Chrome.

Any way to up vote this issue this to be fixed sooner by eBay?

I am not being given the landscape vs. portrait option anymore but I fooled around and found that before you hit print under more settings and then under scale if you hit default it will offer a # for size and I ended up picking 80 and that made it fit. Hope this helps someone.

Your fix may work for you but not everybody else. In fact, my page looks nothing like yours do even after following your instructions.

I've had the same problem and also told ebay CS about it.   

Try printing the label on plain paper first, then put it in your copy scanner turned 90 degrees and print it on the label paper - see if that works.

@gq**av I've complained about this in another thread for months.  The most recent answer is that "it's working correctly, but we understand your desire for an 'enhancement' to the process".   Ya right.

If eBay expects to charge a Seller's fee, they have an obligation to PROMPTLY fix bugs.

I just wasted 30 minutes on this issue, only to find out it is STILL broken and ebay does NOTHING.

One thing I did is to abandon eBay labels in favor of a free service, PirateShip.com.  That way I have something that works and a "back up" (eBay) should PS have a glitch.  Perhaps adding another tool as a back up service makes sense for when the glitches occur?

I can no longer switch back to classic either. Depending on the day,  my label prints 2 pages LARGE or micro small, all without changing setting, So fed up wasting labels I went back to printing on paper. Bay has been unable to fix this label page  since summer of 2018. No wonder so many have left to other platforms,I rarely use eBay shipping anymore to screwed up and such a waste of time.

If you see that the two labels are fitting on the page...you can always save to pdf or if your using google chrome...this save to pdf is a feature in the print screen or control+P
Where you would normally select your printer...there is a drop down to select save or print as pdf

Then when you have the pdf you can rotate the document.
I would test this out on normal paper first before committing 100%

back_to_classic does not work anymore. Im printing labels on 89% scale now, **bleep**ty solution, but oh well...
