I'm the buyer on this one.
I ordered 2 small items for a seller on 11/27 (free shipping) and it said expected delivery date was 11/29. Seller shipped them on 11/29 and expected delivery date changed to 11/30. So far not an issue.
On Saturday, 12/1, tracking shows package is on the truck and out for delivery as of 6 am, expected delivery date now shows 12/1 on the Fedex site & ebay. But it is not delivered.
Sunday, Fedex does not delivery, so I figure it will show Monday. Tracking still shows expected delivery date as 12/1 even though that was yesterday.
Monday, 12/3, tracking shows "delivery excemption, no delivery attempt made for 12/1", new expected delivery date 12/3 and package is on the truck and out for delivery again. NO DELIVERY.
Tuesday, 12/4, tracking shows "delivery excemption, no delivery attempt made for 12/3", new expected delivery date 12/4 and package is on the truck and out for delivery again in the morning. At Noon I check the tracking and it says the package is back at the Charleston, WV hub. NOT DELIVERED AGAIN!
So I call Fedex on 12/4 and ask them why my package has been on the truck for three days now and not delivered. Thier response is that they are really busy and I MIGHT get it tomorrow on 12/5.
And each time they haven't delivered it the estimated delivery date on Ebay and Fedex has changed, so it's NOT showing that they have delayed it again and again. This is a time sensitive item, I should of had FRIDAY of last week! I've tried contacting the seller and gotten no response.

Pretty normal for FedEx in my area.
I once spotted 5 FedEx vehicle's in town when taking my daughter to school. Mind you the town has 1 gas station and 2 traffic lights and the main drag is 5 blocks long (maybe a mile or so) from end to end.
Logically I would have put ALL packages for the town in one truck but no FedEx has to separate them into different trucks for Ground, Express, Home and delivering SmartPost to the Post Offices. Also note that the Terminals for each are over an hours drive from the town.
FedEx's motto should be "Logic, who needs your stinking logic"
