Back in June, I was charged on my invoice about $118 over what the estimated shipping cost was stated. I contacted ebay, they escalated it to the Fedex department and said that if I didn't get a credit on the next one or two invoices, that it was not decided in my favor. I have not received a credit. Is there any way I can appeal this? I basically lost $118 on a small 3 1/2 lb. package to TX. It was one of three that were shipped for the same listing. I have the reference number for the case. Thanks!

Without the details, opinions are meaningless.
Size?
Weight? (4 lbs)
Where? Zip code?
What service? Ground?
I will say from your sold listing I see nothing that would be expensive except the speakers.
BTW, no one from eBay reads these post typically. This is a user to user forum.

It went Fedex either ground or home delivery. The package weighed 3.5 lbs. and was small, probably largest dimension only 16" at the most. It went to TX and was estimated to cost $30.??. I was charged $149.28 on my invoice. Because it's been over 3 months, I can only pull it up now on my ebay invoice. Just thought someone else may have experienced something like this.
Without knowing exactly how it was shipped, size and all that, its hard to answer. There have been many reports of FedEx over charges on these boards for a while. I have never experienced that myself, and I use FedEx almost every day. If you have the tracking number, that might give some insight as to the issue as that will have the size and weight along with the to / from locations. To test it, I went to my email and randomly picked a FedEx package from 12/2016 and it came right up, so yours should too. I would start there and come back when you have the vitals.
BTW, most people get bit by dimensional weight.

I am just taking a guess, but if as you say that there were three (3) pkgs from the same shipment, then maybe the calculated shipment was for one (1) of the pkgs? I am not sure when shipping via calculated shipment it makes more sense that the estimation will be for one (1) pkg. If three (3) were shipped to the same address that would make each box to be approx. $49.67 - this is just a wild guess and wild math too 🙂

This is what shows on my ebay invoice.
Tracking No: 786780738243 Bill Wt: 119.0 LB Sign Svc Amt: $4.50 Freight Amt: $81.28 Fuel Amt: $6.24 Misc 1 Amt: $72.50 Perf Price Disc: $-18.69 Resi Amt: $3.45
Do you have the "Shipping label created for Blah Blah Blah" email with that tracking number? I would find that next and look at that and compare. That invoice you showed clearly says you were billed at 119 LBS, yet the tracking number shows 4 LBS (which you would have been billed at the 7 LB rate anyway because of dimensional weight).
It's hard to get these things straightened out because eBay is the shipper on record, so FedEx won't talk to you. Maybe if you get all these documents, you can go where you dropped it off and ask them. They might remember the package (thus the size) and might be able to help.
