I tried to drop off a FedEx shipment today at my local dollar general, and the label would not scan.
The label has some "USPS" reference on it, but I double-checked, I did purchase FedEx, but oddly no mention of FedEx on the label?
What am I missing?

No, you were supposed to drop it off at the FedEx location. The package would have been scanned at some point as it moved through their system. I guess you did FedEx' work for them, but I'm surprised that the USPS accepted it. As long as it reaches the buyer, I guess.

Could it just be User Error on the part of the Dollar General employee trying to scan it in the first time? Might be interesting to know what error message showed during those failed attempts.

The girl (who has scanned my packages quite a few times) scanned both bar codes - twice...no go.
Had I been at a FedEx store or Hub - might have worked it out.
