So I use a Zebra 4"X6" printer. All USPS labels automatically size properly to a 4"x6" document. However, when I use FedEx, the thing slaps a 4"x6" label into an 8.5"x11" document, and gives no other options for the bounding box size. It works just fine for USPS, so I'm confused. Obviously, this adds an immense amount of processing time to FedEx shipments, and is annoying.
What the heck do I do to get FedEx labels to use an appropriate document size? I've also added a sample JPG of a blurred label and how it is automatically sized to show what I mean:
A 4"x6" label in a document much too large for label printing

The labels from Fedex now appropriately format as of early/mid 2019. The formatting is no longer an issue for printing directly to 4x6 labels and no longer needs a workaround.

A similar situation started happening to me when I wanted to print from firefox, had to go thru a bunch of hoops to finally print the size i wanted. So I swithed to Safari and have had no problems since. So maybe a different browser will help.

Hmm.. OK. I am trying to do a direct print, but it simply spits out a label with the mismatched document borders, as it's making the label 4"x6" with an 8.5"x11" border. It has nothing to do with the printer settings or system settings... saving as a PDF does the same thing... it gives a PDF with a 8.5"x11" border and there is no option to make it appropriately cropped.
For now I'm using a Photoshop action to make labels, but it really slows everything down regardless.

FedEx labels print to PDF, somewhere I found settings that allowed you to change the label size for FedEx, but I don't remember where.

Are you still having problems?
You want to make sure your browser is opening PDF files with Adobe and not with its built in reader. Then it should be easy make any adjustments in the preview window to fit the label.

Yes, still the exact same problem, still the exact same source. The document has borders too large for a 4x6 label and still cannot be sized without taking it into Photoshop.

You need to post a screen shot of the entire preview window, and I can likely tell you what is wrong. If you don't want to post here, send it to me in a private message.
Also what OS and browser are you using?

I had the same exact problem, finally in frustration I called called Fed ex, their answer: use Google Chrome, problem solved!
