A Buyer wants to return something that was sent in a large priority box. I clicked on on the ebay buy a shipping label. The Buyer sent me a screen shot of a Ground Advantage label that doesn't have the address I normally use. Just one I occasionally use. How could this happen and how can I send a different one?????

I had a return in June (prior to switch from first class to GA) and although the package was about 8 lbs, this is the return label I received.
The label shows no weight, no date and got to the seller just fine:

Until this Return, I have always experienced what you describe with return labels. Hmmm..... 🤔
I think they could still slap it on the box and it would make it back. After seeing what you sell, though, could the buyer safely get the item back to you, anyway? Whichever label was used? Your stuff looks mighty breakable...

Return Service labels operate under a different set of rules. As long as the buyer is reusing the original box and not grabbing a fresh new Priority box, your buyer can use the Ground Adv Return Service label for that package. Out of the numerous returns I've dealt with that were in Priority Flat Rates, only once did a PO clerk stop the return from being dropped off - an uninformed clerk - so the item was dropped in one of the parcel collection bins and went through just fine.
Someone said seller would be billed postage due on return if clerk flagged it - that's not accurate. Return Service labels have language printed on them, "no postage necessary if mailed within the United States". If any postage is due that is between USPS and eBay and the contract they have. Seller/buyer will never have to pay over the amount quoted by eBay when the USPS Return Service label is generated.

Yeah, I highly doubt they would pack it well enough. I am glad the plates didn't sell for much. At one time they would have sold for a lot more and they are pretty hard to find. The buyer was not happy with the size, thought they were dinner plates, although the dinner plates for that set are significantly larger than the ones they bought from me. This is the same person who wanted me to just do a Buy It Now instead of an auction for these plates. I'm over it, out 30 some bucks, but have blocked the person from buying again.

When you refund the buyer, at least you will get all your FVFs refunded to you, that is a help. I know this process can be frustrating.
As to blocking the buyer. For me, that would depend on why they were asking for the return. If it was damaged in shipment, that isn't the buyer's fault. But if they changed their mind, that is a different issue.

FWIW ... I've had very few return experiences to go off of, but I had a buyer return a Priority Small FR Box via GA Return Svc and I wasn't charged addt'l postage due on the back end.
My hunch says they'll treat Return Svc with a bit of grace ... I mean, I know they have no obligation to, but shippers are at the mercy of buyers returning items and how they return them, I'd like to have faith that USPS won't destroy the shipper's bottom line b/c the buyer returning the item doesn't know the mailing rules. 🤪
