Did you mean:

Ebay not letting me void shipping label

Every time I click on void label it takes me to a page that says "This shipping label can't be cancelled".

Ebay not letting me void shipping label

If you're getting that message it generally means either:

- The label was scanned in to the system, therefore it cannot be voided

- It was an eBay Standard Envelope label which cannot be voided once printed

Did you check the tracking number to see if there are scans and to make sure you are attempting to void the correct label?

The option to void a label expires after 5 days. IMG_1406.jpeg

I knew you could only void for 5 days, but it used to be the case that the void link disappeared after 5 days @ebooksdiva which is why my mind didn't go there when reading the OP's question.

Interesting to note: when I checked just now, the void link was still present even for old labels. It's possible that's been the case for a while - the last time I checked was May of last year.

As a test, I hit the void link on an older label to see what kind of error message it would show and it said I could not void the label because the label had already been used.

Alright that's what it is then.  It's a standard envelope label and I printed it already.  So there's no way to cancel it now?

What if I just cancel the whole order, would I get refunded then?

No @augu1175 . ESE labels are non-refundable. Doesn't matter if the label is used or not or if the transaction is cancelled or not.

ESE labels range from $0.64 - $1.12 so, with absolutely no offense intended, suck it up. 🙂 That statement was intended to lighten the mood, not take a dig at anybody.

Seriously, all the time you spent on this is more valuable than the tiny loss of the label. Now you know for future so consider it a one-time annoying but inexpensive lesson. Keep track of the expense for when you file your taxes on your 2024 sales.
